Frank MeyerFrank Meyer, designated mayor of the city of Krefeld was very happy receiving the congratulatory wishes from  ‘Working Among Friends‘ founder, Mike Lange during the election night. The mayor of Krefeld is very keen for investors and companies to reside in his town for the public benefit of all its inhabitants.. Meyer would like to win leading and renowned companies for his city, creating jobs and collecting taxes. This is good for Krefeld thus improving the quality of life and at the same time developing the town. Moreover, it his aim to introduce products and services from Krefeld to customers and companies all over the world. Thus benefitting German companies and the community of Krefeld. Recently  ‘Working Among Friends’ drew the attention of the business community by initiating a highly endowed business collaboration for German companies in many different ambitous African countries.  WAF is currently involved with  the establishment of production, marketing and distribution possibilities for these companies.

Meyer also stated that cooperations and ventures of this nature were very interesting and welcoming for the local economy. The African policy guidelines of the Federal Government of Germany confirm a rapid developing African continent, in spite of all difficulties some African countries are facing. They anticipate a rising commercial relevance of many African economies. A basic approach, which could also be transferred into the local economic policy, setting a notable trend. Meyer will also introduce and recommend these guidelines to companies in Krefeld. He also wants to support international companies who want to settle in the economic, cultural and social areas of the local community.

Dr. Kofi Ayim supports ‚Working Among Friends‘

Dr. Kofi AyimThe experienced and well-connected consultant Dr. Kofi Ayim is now supporting “Working Among Friends” in West Africa. The team around Business Manager and Managing Director Mike Lange is looking forward to this collaboration, commencing with Dr. Ayim travelling to Ghana. Dr. Ayim is looking to cement existing relationships and build on already established business ventures with prominent government authorities, for example in the emerging countries of Ghana or Ivory Coast.

In addition to having strong ties to government, Dr. Ayim also has very close affiliations with non-political actors who support him on the ground and who themselves benefit from his know-how. Dr. Ayim brings with him promising projects from the sectors of environmental engineering, trade, resources, precious metals, transportation and food. He is involved in projects in the mining sector, specifically gold mining, where advanced mining techniques and equipment can dramatically increase yields and are therefore of great interest to investors. Several African venture-capital-companies have already signaled their interest in industrial equipment which is “Made in Germany”. Recycling is another top priority for our established partners in West Africa, especially the recovery of crude oil from waste products and the significant issue of water procurement and treatment on the otherare areas of concern. Dr. Ayim has participated in various preliminary talks and negotiations and can introduce potential German and European partners to local actors. Heumann is the representative of the ‘North East Tennessee Valley Regional Industry Association’ and has acquired a vast experience in the field of international business establishment in various countries. He has been active in the diplomatic service, in the corporate world and as a journalist and will now establish new contacts between US-American and German companies for ‘Working Among Friends’. Since 1989 Heumann has been taking care of the economic promotion between the USA and Germany and ensured that German companies gained foothold in the USA. He is also advising American companies on their entering the German market.

Among his services are the promotion of companies, products and services, the clarification of administrative questions concerning the building of economic relations and the analysis of the market opportunities of various business models.
